The Cumberlands
Folk Rock
“The Cumberlands are a folk rock project based in Albuquerque NM. The band features strong vocal harmonies and catchy songs that tell a story. The Cumberlands was started by Frontmen Willy Jacobson and Jason Hajny. Nick Giammetteo was added on drums giving the band a powerful rhythm, with Josh Hostetler on Keyboard masterfully adding effects and color to the songs. Chuck Harrol, a jeweler, plays bass with the group adding a nice low end. Matt Pooley a pastor and a rocker plays guitar adding in some very tasty licks. Brian Starr a doctor at the hospital and a surgeon of the electric guitar carves up great solos. They are a fun group of guys that will have you dancing, singing along and leaving you with a smile. The group is on the rise having shared the stage with Dennis DeYoung and the music of STYX. The band also recently completed a tour including stops in Austin, TX, San Antonio, TX and South Padre Island, TX. You can catch The Cumberlands in Albuquerque or while they are on tour, check show dates and times to attend an event.”
